Wreck
of the Ten Sails Grand Cayman East End
One of the most told stories in the
islands history is the story of "The Wreck of the Ten Sails.
There are numerous stories tied to
this famous shipwreck that extols the heroism and fortitude of the
peoples of the Cayman Islands. Nearly all stories end with the awarding
of 'tax free status' to the Cayman Islands as a result of their peoples
bravery during the lifesaving efforts of this disaster that occurred
just off the East End of Grand Cayman |

Wreck of the
Cali Grand Cayman East End
Located just a short swim from the George Town, the
Cali is one of Cayman's Top
snorkeling sites. Sitting in just 30 ft of clear water, this wreck was
originally a masted schooner that was blown up by the British Corp of
engineers due to it's potential hazard. The remains have been a top dive
and snorkel site ever since. |

| Keith Tibbetts
Cayman Brac (north side)
The Keith Tibbetts is a
Russian frigate, obtained from Cuba and sunk, deliberately, in 1996 for
development as a Cayman wreck and Cayman Islands dive site.
The Tibbetts sits in
50 to 100 feet of crystal clear water teeming with marine life including
a myriad of tropical fish, moral eels, and barracuda. |
